At Market USA, we take great pride in giving back to our community. We understand the importance of lending a helping hand to those in need and we believe that every little bit counts towards building a stronger, more connected community. We were thrilled to to start the new year off by getting involved with the Moravia Hope Pantry and providing a donation of $1,000 to their Moravia School Backpack Program.
The Moravia School Backpack Program has become a vital resource for students in need in Moravia. With volunteers packing bags of nutritious foods each week, the program has been able to support over 100 students when school is in session. Recent data shows that just in November 2023, the extra food provided in the 400 bags sent home provided the participating children with enough food to cover 2,400 meals. Not only does the program provide food during the school week, but it also extends its support during the holidays. The Moravia School Backpack Program was recently able to distribute 120 baskets for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. This program embodies the spirit of community and ensures that students are provided with the resources they need to succeed.

As we reflect on our recent involvement with the Moravia Hope Pantry, we are filled with a sense of pride and gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to such a great program. It’s truly inspiring to see the tireless work of individuals who are committed to making the world a better place, one community at a time.
