As of December 2022, Cross Filtration became Markert USA as part of Markert Group, Germany. Markert has been in the textile filtration business for 4 generations and is market leader for filter cloths in Europe one of the largest filtration markets in the world.
In the late 1970s, Peter Cross and Barry Hibble founded the market leader for filter press cloth in Moravia, New York. In 2013 Peter’s daughter Joanne Cross started Cross Filtration. Joanne built on the legacy of leadership, innovation, and high-quality craftsmanship, while maintaining the company’s roots in Moravia, New York. Markert USA is proud to continue this great heritage.
