The Area Sales Manager role is a key position within our sales team. The successful candidates will be responsible for growing B2B sales and increasing customer satisfaction in the designated territory (in mining and minerals and chemical plants as PhosAcid, Ti02 and others). You will be supporting direct sales efforts while developing and implementing sales strategies for your region. This role demands someone with a proven track record of successful sales results, industry knowledge, and excellent communication skills. You will have autonomy and influence over your territory as you work to advance the Markert brand.

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact. In this role, you will generate new business while maintaining relationships with existing customers. You will be responsible for regularly meeting with clients, presenting our products and services, and managing the sales cycle. The Area Sales Manager must be able to make strategic decisions about what accounts to pursue, how to allocate resources, and when to escalate issues.
