Today, we’re spotlighting our Nathan Litmer, a knowledgeable member of our sales team in the Midwest region who combines precision with personality. Let’s get to know the person behind the role.
How would you describe yourself in three words?
“Charismatic, detailed, and measured.” These traits reflect Nathan’s thoughtful approach to work and relationships, whether solving a complex filtration challenge or building rapport with a client.
What do you enjoy most about your role at Markert USA?
For Nathan, it’s all about problem-solving and partnership.
“I love developing solutions and being a technical resource for our partners,” he explains. There’s real satisfaction in being the go-to person for answers and delivering value with the support of a skilled team.
What’s a favorite work-related memory?
Traveling to Germany on multiple occasions provided a valuable opportunity for Nathan to fully immerse himself in the strong company culture. Furthermore, this international experience allowed him to check off some exciting bucket list items, such as:
- Attending a premier football match featuring Bayern Munich or Borussia Dortmund
- Experiencing the authentic Oktoberfest
What advice would you give to yourself on your first day?
“Be patient and thorough when learning the terminology. Trust the process.”
In a technical industry, rushing the learning curve doesn’t help anyone. Taking the time to master the products, applications, and vocabulary pays off in the long run.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Family comes first. Nathan spends as much time as possible with his two children, cheering them on at sports events and being present for special moments.
When he has time for himself, you’ll often find him on the golf course, a game that rewards the same patience and precision he values professionally.
What’s a fun fact most people might not know about you?
“I’m an old soul,” Nathan says, and then elaborates how his music tastes rarely go beyond ’90s alternative. Depending on the mood, they lean toward ’70s classic rock, ’80s hair metal, or ’90s music to match the vibe.
What makes Markert USA different from other places you’ve worked?
“Often times you don’t get to meet the CEO of a company early in the process. To me, it shows that the leadership team cares for their employees, and are fully invested in our growth”
